What can I put in the skip?
General household and renovation waste — timber, plasterboard, furniture, garden waste (in a separate green-waste bin), packaging, fittings, fixtures. Not allowed: hazardous materials, asbestos, paint tins (more than empty), gas bottles, batteries, food waste, electronics. If unsure, text us before you book.
Where does the bin sit?
On your driveway or property. If you need to place it on the road or footpath you’ll need a council permit — we’ll send you the link when you book. Most jobs don’t need one.
How long do I have it?
Seven days, included. Need it longer? Just reply to your booking SMS. Extensions are $40 per day, no minimum.
What if I overfill it?
Bins must be filled to the level of the rim, not above. Overfilled bins can’t be safely transported and we may need to redistribute or charge an overage fee ($60). Pick a size up if you’re unsure — cheaper than two collections.
Are you actually local?
Yes. We’re Auckland-based and Auckland-run. Your bin is delivered by us — the same number that took your booking is the same person showing up. No call centres, no overseas dispatch.
What payment methods?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex via Stripe Checkout. 50% deposit on booking, 50% on collection. We don’t take cash on delivery — keeps things simple for everyone.
Cancellation?
Cancel free up to 24 hours before scheduled delivery for a full deposit refund. Inside 24 hours we keep $50 to cover scheduled time and the bin we held for you.
